The Babysitter is a good story about a lonely husband and his struggles to resist temptation from work and at home. Obviously from the title it is clear that the temptation at home is the babysitter that lives upstairs. Yes this is a short book, but 2 things that I really liked about this book was the fact that it was short. I mean why not? It was a quick hot read about a man that gets to do what probably a lot of men fantasize about. And I got to read an entire book while waiting at the doctor’s office instead of staring at boring magazines. The 2nd thing I liked about this book is that it’s from a man’s point of view. There may be some phrases in the book that I didn’t care for? But I am not going to fault the author for that, again… it is from a man’s point of view, so it’s just my taste and you can’t please everyone. If the next book is short like this one? I will read it as well, just to see what this whole story may have in store for us. Technically I am giving this book a 3.5 but will score it as 4 stars on Amazon.Reviewer for Isalovesbooks

I don't normally read erotica that's written strictly from the male point of view, but I sure am glad I made an exception this time. I thoroughly enjoyed this smoking-hot short read. Dark Inferno set my blood and nether regions afire with raw, passionate, carnal lust and desire. I found the vivid details regarding the main character's (Richard Martin's) thoughts, feelings and physical sensations to be a huge turn on. It isn't often that a female is privy to this degree of gritty, masculine insight. The pages were alive with explicit testosterone-driven sex. I couldn't get enough. I highly recommend Sweet Temptations The Babysitter, and I look forward to reading the second book in this series.
It’s not often that I stray from my norm and jump into M/F erotica. My other reviews prove this. But seriously, check out that cover! Then read the blurb and say you aren’t a wee bit tempted to check it out. I know some who are anti-cheating in their stories will be all over me for this one but that’s okay. I enjoyed the hell out of this short. I was left eager to see where the author will be going next in the series.
Like the blurb states, Richard has never cheated on his wife, Alice. He loves her dearly and would never do anything to upset their marriage. Sure, he’s been tempted but he would never in a million years intentionally hurt her. But then there’s Rebecca, the babysitter. Gorgeous. Sexy. Major fantasy material. Alice and Richard haven’t had sex in over a month. He’s horny and he’s frustrated. When Richard has to rush out the door (after getting good and hot and bothered with his wife first) to go to Rebecca’s apartment to work on her computer, what happens with he discovers that apparently he’s not the only one with fantasies?
He should go now, this was his chance, before things grew even more complicated, all he had to do was go and everything would be fine…
There is not a lot I can say about this short story without giving too much away. I will say that it’s one hell of a hot story. I am eagerly awaiting the second in the series and I look forward to reading more by this author.

I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. The author requested my book blog for a request, which I love doing! However, I have to give a disclaimer, that there is some infidelity within this story, so if you do not like a book with this as a subject this book isn't for you.
The book is written well, and is very entertaining. I am intrigued for the next book. And I have to say, in my opinion the wife within the story is up to something. Sad to say, I don't like her!
Meet Richard Martin, an accountant, that is married to his college sweetheart, but seems to be just floating through life. He is a strong and likable character and means well, even though in the end it will leave you divided. Richard, strongly dislikes his supervisor and her constant come-on's, and his wife likes to taunt the supervisor of her possession of Richard.
Enters Rebecca Blaire, the upstairs neighbor, a 21 year old beauty that Richard and his wife befriend and hire to watch their 16 month old on occasions. Now it is obvious that she has a crush on Mr. Martin and it seems that Richard harbors feelings for her too. But Rebecca is in a pickle when her abusive father is due home and the family computer is on the fritz, and she is in a panic it won't be fixed before he comes home. Richard, reluctantly agrees to review it.
And the rest is history. Let's see how Richard moves forward and what happens with Rebecca.
I had mixed feelings regarding this short read. The writing is good and flows easily but I had a problem with the scenario.
Richard is in his thirties, married, but frustrated. At an office party, he is attracted to a co-worker but is distracted by his wife, who manages to rescue him before he can succumb to the obvious advances. Upon reaching home, he is also attracted to his teenage babysitter who obviously has eyes for him. When she asks him for help with her computer, he willingly goes to her apartment she shares with her father who is not at home. Things escalate and they have sex complete with bed squeaks and screams. I'm wondering why the wife downstairs didn't suspect something. The sex didn't bother me. It was interesting from the male perspective. The fact that Richard so easily made a conquest with a teenage girl not to mention his waiting wife in their apartment didn't sit well. However, don't let that deter you from a good read with more to follow in this series. 4 stars
